About the Project

This project involved the complete build out a Japanese style restaurant with sixteen hibachi grills. Scherer was contracted to complete the shell structure by infilling new curtain wall glass along two sides of this corner unit anchor restaurant, as well as the complete interior of the vacant space. Finishes included custom hibachi units with stainless steel and plastic laminate soffits surrounding the hoods and stainless steel, plastic laminate, and granite seating areas. Extensive use of ceramic tile in this restaurant included plank style ceramic tile flooring in the entry and dining areas, floor to ceiling wall tile in the restrooms, and quarry tile in the commercial kitchen and work areas, giving this project a crisp, clean look.
