About the Project
This project consisted of the removal and replacement of the 11,067 square feet of the existing roof at the University of Florida’s North Hall dormitory. The demolition included the removal of the existing built-up membrane with gravel and associated flashing and asbestos abatement. The new roof included the addition of a tapered insulation system, new roof drains, stainless steel flashing, lightweight insulating concrete, and cold adhesive modified bitumen roof system manufactured by Siplast.
