About the Project

The first phase of the project included expansion of the retention pond & concrete loading area and the 20,000sf expansion to the warehouse. The second phase of the project included the complete gut and remodel of the existing bathrooms and the addition of a break room in the existing warehouse. Scherer self-performed the site work for this project which included expanding the existing retention pond, installing a downspout rain leader system, and expanding the concrete loading area.

Challenges to the project included working around the operating 24hr a day plant while not interfering with their production, removal of the existing warehouse wall while erecting the addition while keeping the building dried in, and working around a wetland.
