About the Project

This project consisted of renovating a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. The scope of work included installing a temporary dust barier and negative air machine, removal of existing medical equipment, demolition of an 8” thick concrete slab, installation of rigid conduit raceways, place and finish new concrete, installation of new LED lighting, floor and wall finishes, and the installation of a GE Innova IGS 530 single plane. Due to the highly sensitive nature of construction within a critical risk procedure suite, extreme care was taken to ensure communication was clear, dust and debris was kept within the construction area, and noise was minimized during operating hours.
